Wharfedale Diamond 225 Bookshelf Speakers ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Out of the box sounded a little muffle but opens up after 20 hours of continuous playing.
Smooth Jazz, Country Rock, Metallica, Mozart, Alan Jackson, Neil Young, Bob Dylan, Diana Krall, 70’s, 80’s and so many artist from every genre of music, 225s are singing great along with all the music I throw at them, surprise! surprise! because which is hard to come by at this price.
Naturally sweet airy highs are detail yet rich, clean mids, rich and full tone quality is signature sound of these bookshelf speakers, very musical sound with good bass response.
Soundstage is deep and wide, neutral rich tone with a little warmish signature to it, excellent vocal performance and bass is clean, I just need a little more speed and instruments separation to make it perfect bookshelf speakers.
Late night low level listening performance from these speakers are great, even lower bass response is clean and well pronounce, many speakers in this price fail to do that task for me.
Truly good all around speakers for the people who just love to listen and enjoy the music.
When I was listening (75db) to The Byrds “It’s All Over Now, Baby Blue” (Alternate Mix) sounded so good that I kept on repeating it because it’s so airy and smooth natural sound that I forgot about evaluation of the speakers.
These are do it all great sounding speakers that never get harsh or bright even at 85db+ SPL, unlike Bronze 2 or Studio 230s or SVS Ultras because they can get bright at loud level.
I watched Batman V Superman blu-ray movie and I forgot about I was watching 2ch system with bookshelf speakers.
Fit and finish is just perfect in this price, Definitely recommended to all music lovers.,
Cons: None @ This Price.
I made this video for the people who can’t audition the speakers or the equipments.
Note: This video is posted straight out of the camera and recorder.
No video or audio post processing other than adding titles.
This Video/Audio will not sound 100% accurate as auditioning in the real world, however I would recommend using good monitor headphones and play in HD to get best sound quality for your reference. (My reference headphones are Sony MDR7506 & Audio-Technica ATH-M50)
